Barcelona Day 2 - Antoni Gaudi
Today was dedicated to Antoni Gaudi and I am going to let wiki help me a bit explaining this amazing man. We will visit his Parc Güell (Güell commissioned Gaudi to create this urban setting) and the Sagrada Familia cathedral (actually a minor Basilica) among other Gaudi structures. "Wiki" says: "Gaudi's work was influenced by his passions in life: architecture, nature, and religion. He considered every detail of his creations and integrated into his architecture such crafts as ceramics , stained glass , wrought ironwork forging and carpentry . He also introduced new techniques in the treatment of materials, such as trencadís which used waste ceramic pieces."
